If you are planning on hosting your family reunion that will only last one day than the choice for what to eat is simple. A potluck is the way to go. It allow everyone to bring their favorite dishes and to share it. It is easy to dish out and everyone will enjoy the food.
However, if you expect this family reunion to last a few days than you might have a much harder time deciding on what food to prepare. Keep in mind that even though you are related you may have different tastes in food. Because of that trying making a simple list of everyone’s favorite food and see how you can make it all work.
When it comes to breakfast you can have a variety. Get a few cereals, yogurt, frozen waffles, and maybe even some eggs and allow each person to prepare their own. For lunch you might want to stick to the traditional sandwiches. Just try to get an assortment of meats that everyone will love.
Dinner is the hardest meal to prepare because people will eat more at this time and therefore you can’t have too much of a variety. The best thing to do is to divide who makes the meal each night. Let them choose the meal, buy everything for it, and everyone can pitch in to prepare it. This way everyone is happy.
