Thanksgiving is next week and that marks the beginning of the official Christmas countdown. The children are getting excited and you know deep down inside you can’t wait to hang up all the decorations and to do that wonderful Christmas shopping for the ones that you love.

It also means that you get to start planning the annual Christmas party. Let’s make things different and create a theme that is unique – but also something that everyone will enjoy. In order to let people know what that theme will be make sure you display it on the invitations.

There are dozens of Christmas themes to choose from. Some of them include “Christmas in Scotland”. This theme requires that everyone come in 18th century Scottish costumes and dance to the traditional Scottish music.

You can also have a “Christmas Under the Sea” party. This allows you the decorate the bar as a giant clam and the Christmas tree with seaweed and shells. Ask the guests to wear nice dresses and tuxes and dance the night away.

If you want to make things really fancy you can use the “Victorian Dessert” Christmas party. The guests must all dress in Victorian costumes and you can decorate the house or office with candles and burgundy velvet. Make sure that each of the guests bring a delicious dessert.
